As I have GERD, that has led, most unfortunately, to interstitial lung disease, I needed to raise the head of my bed a full six inches. I had been using 3 6-inch square blocks of 1 1/2-inch thick board, giving me about 4 1/2 " rise. Installed these and they work perfect. Very sturdy, has a small "well" to keep the bed frame wheels locked in place. I am very pleased and plan to take two of them with me to France for an extended trip to use with the hotel bed. Delivery time was very short also.
Update: June 2010 After using these risers for about a year and taking them on several trips, I can whole-heartedly endorce my 5 star rating. They work great; they are relatively light while providing great support. At 250 pounds, I am heavier than many, but the risers have not broken down at all. I stuff socks or something else inside one of them when I pack two of them. They have been to France, Mexico, Guadeloupe, a couple of National Parks, and under three different beds in my home. The "indent" in the top keeps bed legs that have wheels on them from moving around. Great product.

Pros: The base is 6 9/16 inch square floor footprint. The cup size in the top is tapered down to about 2 3/4 or just a shade under. Sturdy black plastic with the cup in the top to keep things centered.
Cons: I had 3-inch round plastic support feet for my queen frame and had to shave off some girth to make them square and allow them to rest fully into the base of the cup. The overall height of the riser is 6 inches, but it actually only raises the bed frame by 5 inches, because the cup itself is 1 inch deep. Even though I was wanting the 6 inches in height, the 5 is exactly what I needed. I also wish they came is something other than 4-packs. I had to buy three boxes because I needed 10 total. Now I have 2 left over, but oh well....

This morning at 2:33 AM I woke in a startled state mostly reserved for a near death experience. As it turns out, one of my four Kennedy Home Collection Bed Risers had broken, rapidly dropping one corner of my bed 6 inches. There was NO WAY that we had exceeded the weight limit documented for this product. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing this item.

Speed cloth is the way to go, if your building a poker table. i finished my third one, and swear by the speed cloth. Cards go across table like hot knife thru butter.
wasnt a fan of packaging however. it is a 10'x5' thick material, and it was folded into a small 1'x1' square (approx) in order for it to fit in small box they sent. which caused big creases that couldnt all be removed from stretching, so i had to have it steamed.

It came folded, with creases, but I ironed the backside carefully with a steam iron after I cut it to size, and the wrinkles came out fine. It makes for a wonderful playing surface. I took a ready-to-be trashed poker table, and made it look almost brand-new with this cloth. We haven't had the ultimate test of spilling a drink on it, but so far, it has held up very well.

i read the reviews on this before i brought it and was pleased then and now that i actually own it. First i was concerned about the amount of card decks it could hold so i wanted the 8 deck shoe but reviews were bad so i went with this one and honestly i believe it can hold definitely 7 maybe 8 decks because there's soo much room after 6. The shoe itself is durable and perfect for adding and/or removing the cards. Again buy this item you won't be disappointed

The card shoe is very sturdy and performs quite well on a felted surface. The only trick is if you decide to put it on any surface besides felt; the bottom has no slide prevention built in. I found that with the addition of some inexpensive rubber dots it will hold the shoe in place on just about any surface. Just make sure you use flat rubber dots so that the front of the shoe remains close to the hard surface you are playing on. Hope this helps!

Although many tables are stapled, if your former pool table cloth was glued you should use pool table felt adhesive again. It is applied to the outer 6" of the table bed. The picture leads you to believe that it folds once. It doesn't. Additionally, the bag looks nothing like the picture which would give you the idea that you think you are buying a table that only folds in half (the more folds, the cheaper and more painful to set up). The material is nice, cheap chip and cup holders. I would not recommend buying this.

I bought this as a bday gift for my bf. This table folds up nicely into the bag and is easy to store - not as heavy as I thought it would be. Nice cup holders and chip holders - maybe could be a little deeper. Cards don't slide very easily across the surface, so dealer needs to be a bit more accurate about card placement, especially with all 8 players seated. I would recommend this to anyone who plays poker on a semi-regular basis.

Because it folds up into quarters which is nice for carrying and storage, it puts too many ridges and seams in the top surface and it is hard to clear the cards or chips off of the felt surface of the table top. I am going to try to return it and get a top that folds in half and has only one smooth seam. I have used this type in the past and will continue to use this type.
